scardy cat.

Yes, I'm the world's biggest scardy cat. I imagine all types of things, usually when I'm alone. Living in such a large home will bring on creaks and groans, but the other day something happened that I can not debunk. While preparing dinner I heard three loud bangs coming from the floor above me. These were not little noises they were a deliberate and loud pounding on the floor above me. I looked up and told whatever was making that noise to stop. It listened and it didn't do it anymore. But it didn't stop for good.

Lynn Hones I looked up at the ceiling and said nicely, "Listen, we had an agreement of sorts. I made the arrangement and you, I thought listened." Now, I have to admit, I never heard anyone exactly, but I felt we had an agreement they would not scare me. The sound I heard sounded like croquet balls falling loudly, three times. Each time I heard it, I felt my heart skip. I've tried desperately to figure it out, debunking as they say, to no avail. I got cold and had that feeling of absolute dibelief.
