I previously posted about how I had let life get away from me and my writing was suffering because of it. However, I acknowledged that I needed to make some changes and get back to work, and I have!
Through my regular day job at the veterinary clinic, I have been given the opportunity to write a monthly column about pet healthcare in the town newsletter. This has been going very well, and re-kindled my enthusiasm for my fiction writing as well. I've gotten back to my weekly writing day and I'm terribly excited to say that I have finished the first draft of the second adventure of Ellie Wood and her Pekingese "Muffin".
So, I'm working, writing, and spending time with my dogs, the only thing left is to get back to riding horses on a regular basis too!
I'd be back to last one as well, if this Maine winter would take things a little easier! We've had five snow storms in the last two weeks, piling just over three feet of snow on us! Just 30 more days until spring!
