Goblins!!!!!

Great, and back to the weekend dose of goblins. So, I've wrapped up the major part of the adventuring quest, and am just having fun as the goblins spar with the giants through various cunning plots - which of course are destined to unravel very quickly. The latest one involves an enormous false nose - don't ask me why but it had me chuckling and hopefully will make others chortle too.

So today I see the last words written were - ‘Praise the gods!’ prayed the Great Mole. He smiled up at the colossal cow; it had a startled look on its face, almost as if... 'Duck!' he shouted, and pushed Crappy to one side. A gout of flame took off the hairs at the back of his neck, and destroyed part of his fur.

As the flames receded Crappy cradled him tenderly. ‘Great Mole, you’re injured!’ he added, improbably.

‘Don’t worry about me lad,’ said the Great Mole, bravely, ‘I’ll be fine!’ The pain too much, the Great Mole feinted.

How can today be anything but a really good day, heh, heh.

Richard Pett One of the things I've really struggled with throughout this book and I'm still doing today is bringing the timelines together, even though we have only 2 or 3 different groups at most. When one group travels and the others are pretty stationary keeping track of time is surprisingly difficult - a real lesson from this.
