Goblins!!!!!

Is 3750 words good? It seems like the goblins are fitting in nicely with other tasks but that doesn't feel a lot, even though several threads of the plot have been tied up, the heroes are heading back to the village and the giants have rumbled the trickery. Plus a fence done and several other mundane tasks sorted.

Plus we have a village crocodile called Petal, and for some reason calling anything with lots of teeth Petal is amusing to me.

Outside, he could hear the sound of someone being eaten. ‘Ah, and here unless I’ve very much mistaken, which I’m not,’ he said, shooting his adviser a curt glance, ‘is Petal come to get ready for the evening’s festivities. Adviser, bring my cape, monocle, fez and the ultramarine paint. Some things, I’m glad to say, are not questioned and tradition is one of them.’

Dave Harrison Any amount of words written is good! Too often I get distracted by those mundane tasks and get to the end of the day without having written anything.

Richard Pett Good point! I've just been up a bloody ladder clearing out upper floor gutters, writing 5 words would have been a better use of my time:)
