Now I'm officially working hard on editing Kerfuffle, my Camp NaNoWriMo project. This book was difficult to write, and I find that editing it has me a bit depressed, but I feel like the message of this book is worth all the sad moments.
One of the interesting things that happened with this book is that a group of characters stole my heart and won me over by surprise. When I wrote Chance's character I realized, uh oh, he's awesome... but then I wrote his family... sigh. Now I want to give them their own book! Maybe they'll get a novella, but the truth is, they probably won't. I already have two more books and one novella scheduled for this series, and that should be the end. So far we have a novella about Holly and the difficulties of being a pastor's wife (Miss Sadie will definitely make an appearance!), a book about Anna Cruz's first year in college, and then the conclusion of the series, following Olive to visit her Yia Yia's village in Greece!
