Noble indeed

It is difficult in creating characters that are true to life and believable at the same time. Quite often as a writer we fall short. Either the character is true to life but not believable or the other way around. The character of Kate in my book had to be both. I could not have her to be noble without being believable at the same time. I wanted her to be noble in every way. embodying what all of us aspire to be. Because her role in the book was so important she needed to rise above the fray. How lucky was I, to have actually met not just one person, but many over ten years who volunteered for our charity run that could have been Kate? It was not difficult for me to draw on the traits and characteristics to create Kate. It was right in front of me. When you read my book you will get a glimpse into a world of real people that live behind the fantasy. Let your imagination run wild. This is one case where non-fiction trumps fiction.
