Hi everyone, been quite ill since last Sunday with a fever/viral infection, I still had to teach on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday, I'm getting better, still some tension around the eyes & a chesty cough. My wife has been similarly affected, but is getting stronger too.
Been busy trying to promote my 5* books on social media, it does become a chore, but nothing else I can do. I don't have armies of PAs or legions of street teams to support me. Like most writers I plow a hard, constant & lonely furrow to gain recognition. Sometimes I feel why do I even bother? My books get one review, I see other writers with 77 for one book!
I know my skills as a writer & the consistent quality of my work across a number of genres, it does get me down, but all I can do is to keep trying.
