I am honored that my second novel Above Us Only Sky was chosen as the Freshmen Common Read for this fall 2017 at Virginia Wesleyan College in Norfolk, Virginia. I can't wait to speak with the incoming class of freshmen and faculty about my book, which explores many disciplines: literary, art, historical, political and magical.
