Every time I hit refresh on my book's sales report (every 5 minutes), I catch myself saying in my head, "C'mon. Big money, big money." Is this endemic among new authors, or am I completely alone?
Where is the scientific community on this one? Where are the studies? A quick Google search brought up nothing. I checked the DSM-IV and it wasn't in there.
I have not yet caught myself saying "No Whammies," but sales have been good so far.
