Psyched by Havana Scott

Look, I'm just going to jump right on in and say it: Havana Scott can write sex scenes like a boss.

After all, the sexual chemistry between MC's is one of the main reasons why we as readers love romance, right? Well. Hot damn, they were epic. EPIC. And her ability to balance heat with heart honestly blew me away. As a fellow writer, it's no mean feat to do this, let me tell you. It's unbelievably difficult writing an intimate scene without it reading like a C grade porno complete with leopard print bedsheets.

I would have liked there to be more lead up to the emotional intimacy between the hero and heroine, however, I loved that their behaviour was continuously psychoanalysed--it made me want to don some tortoise shell glasses and a pencil skirt.

So, if you want a read which makes you feel ridiculously intelligent despite being blinded by the sparks shooting from your Kindle, this one is definitely for you.
