Presidential History

An idea popped into my head the other day so I started writing it down. In my life, I can remember one quote from most presidents. I won't say that they define their presidency. . . well . . . maybe I will now that I think about it. Here is what I came up with:

“Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country.”

Johnson – nothing stands out.

“I am not a crook.”

Ford – nothing stands out.

“I have lusted in my heart.”

“Mr. Gorbachev, tear down that wall!”

“Read my lips, no new taxes.”

“I did not have sex with that woman.”

“Freedom itself was attacked this morning by a faceless coward, and freedom will be defended.” (okay, I looked that one up because I couldn’t remember the entire quote)

“If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.”

“Make America great again.” OR "Fake news." This one still has time to run so it may change.

Can you name them!
