Did you miss it?

A year ago, I released the last Starfire Angels book. Unfortunately, in the midst of health issues, I didn't advertise. I felt lucky to accomplish that much and was paying plenty of medical bills rather than advertising. Nemesis had a soft release without any more fanfare than me announcing it on my Facebook page.

If you missed it, you can catch up. Here's the recap on this wrap-up of main characters and events in the Starfire Angels universe:

Since stealing Raea from Valdas and her team of Shirukan, Leksel was never on good terms with the Shirukan general. He sliced her face in the fight to take back the Crystal Keeper. She destroyed his wing in retribution. When circumstances bring them face-to-face through an unlikely source, a truce is tenuous at best. Leksel needs Valdas to guide him to the Keeper that set her free from the du’kir brood ship and to retrieve the Starfire shard on the infamous Annihilator, and Valdas needs Leksel to help her destroy those who betrayed her. Two former Shirukan working together to cut out the heart of the Shirat Empire might be a powerful alliance, if they can overcome their loathing for one another.

And for those who want something more, I had also written a novella in a branch-off series from Starfire Angels. If I want to write stories in that universe outside the main characters, they will be published as part of the "Beyond Starfire Angels" series. The first novella is available, titled The Lereni Trade.

She grew up disregarded by all and put her attention into studying, but Krissa longed for friends. In her lonely life, an alien abduction was the last place she expected to find them. But it's not by chance that they've found her. Her Lereni captors have plans for her as an exchange to save their world from its ruthless conquerors, the Tah'Na. Only her life can free them, but not even they know why she is worth the freedom of a whole planet. A possible clue rests on her wrist, a stone bearing a symbol from another alien race. One Lereni will show her what friendship means and defy his commander to save her, but they may all need angelic intervention.
