Hey, Dear Hearts.

I was pretty hesitant to post this because it felt like self-promotion, and I didn't want people to think I was cashing in on a disaster for publicity or whatnot. But the bottom line is that this is where a great deal of my income comes from, and where I get the funds to donate to various causes in which I believe each month, so a pox upon what people think. (Things I wish I said more often.) I'm letting you know what I'm donating to this time around, since I feel like it's close to quite a few hearts besides mine.

If you were planning on using your money to donate directly to Puerto Rico, DO NOT purchase one of my books in lieu of that. Your money will do more through a direct donation. But if you were planning on indulging your book buying habit, and would like that money to go to a good cause, I'll be sending all the proceeds now through the first week of October to the Puerto Rico Food Bank.
