Owner and Designer of ScrapperJude Designs

Those of you who may not know my back story, let me re-introduce myself.  I am a senior citizen who worked for many years both in the private sector and for the federal government.  I retired from my federal job in 2010.  For the past seven years I have been looking for how i can  share my life with you in an inspiring and passionate way.

I was given a gift from GOD 37 years ago when I gave birth to twin sons. They were born two months premature.  My one son survived the ordeal of his early birth and is now a husband and father of two children.  Jason developed problems after birth which left him with severe brain damage.  He was diagnosed later on in his life with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy.

He taught me about what life is really about.  Life is precious and each day is a gift.  Jason lived for 28 years and died on December 22, 2006.  Eleven years ago this month I was sitting at his bedside in the Intensive Care Unit at York Hospital.  He had double pneumonia.  ‘After living longer than anyone expected, it was his decision to return to God where he is now my guardian angel.

I created this website along with my online business in his honor and memory.  I am a certified Zentangle Teacher and soon will be a certified art practitioner.  Creating is my passion and it helped me though the difficult years caring for Jason. It is my time to give back.

My business focuses on teaching healing art with Zentangles and other media.  I create workshops to help people find time to use art for healing.  Zentangle art is a new form of art that is created by using a variety of tangles together to form a abstract design.   It is both addictive and zen-like.  When you start creating tangles you get lost in what you are doing and are totally focused on creating one tangle at a time.

Please feel free to look through my website.  My siite will take you to my Etsy shop at www.etsy/shop/ scrapperjude if you want to purchase one of my drawings.

Virtual hugs,

Jude
