Christmas is fast approaching and here in Perth, today, the temperature is hot and sunny at 34C (93F for you northerners). Tomorrow it will be cooler, down to 26C (78F), so they say, which is fortunate as I'm playing in the last match of a croquet pennant tournament in the evening and my team is looking good, undefeated to date. Wish us luck that we remain so.

I will be putting Book 2 (A Body in the Woodpile) up on NetGalley early next year, so keep an eye out for it. In the meantime I am working on the third and final in the series, Murder at the Mill, where some problems don't have a cut and dried solution, and some story lines come together.
