I wanted to take time to thank my three amazing readers, they are thanked in my Acknowledgements, but I feel like there are never enough thank you opportunities in a world that seems a little off it's axis these days. So, why not thank them again?

Sue, Jody and Joy - you ladies make writing fun. I never thought I would get published or finish a book for that matter. Now that I have two books published I might be willing to call myself an author. Anyway, along with my editors, you three make my books better. It is hard when you are in the moment of writing the book over the course of months to catch all the little nuances that a reader who is inhaling the book can catch them! Thank you for being amazing supportive readers.

I find myself wondering if I should see if I can find that long ago written book from my High School English class and see how terrible it is? Maybe with a rewrite it could be something worth reading. Or it could just be fun to see how far my writing has come. Hopefully.

One final note; the biggest compliment a reader can give is to tell all their friends they loved a book or to leave a review. I consider myself a book pusher and I am constantly telling people to read a book I love. My favorite authors get a lot of good press from me! Some writers are talented enough to throw a story together in a few weeks. Other authors take months to get a story to paper. And every single one of us appreciate every single one of our readers. Even if they didn't necessarily love the story, we appreciate you, as a reader, taking the time to read it at all. Our stories are a labor of love and our first loves, our families, are patient while we obsess over getting the story just right on paper.
