There are goddesses as well as gods:
Matriarchal modes of thought,
And though Christianity has taught us differently,
There is more than one god—
For what’s a god composed of if not belief?

Our western culture has taught us one way to think,
Which leaves me craving another sort of music,
A dimension beyond what I’ve heard so many times...

Imagine heeding our hearts and guts,
Expanding our warmth, generosity,
Abilities to listen, grow and give birth.
Envision what magic we might master,
What capacity for change!
