A quick spelling/grammar rant...

There are a couple of things that have been driving me especially nuts lately, and I'm hoping that if I rant about it, I'll get over it.

- The word Whoa. It IS spelled Whoa, not Woah. I know it's becoming more common and more widely accepted, but it drives me batty!

- The overuse of I instead of me. Okay, sometimes it IS appropriate to use me instead of I. For example, you would say, "Do you want to come with Jan and me to the store?" Me is the appropriate word. Take out Jan and you'll see why. You wouldn't ask, "Do you want to come with I to the store?" It has gotten to the point that I'm afraid to use me for fear that people will think that I'M wrong. I find myself changing the phrasing of things to avoid it all together. I'll say, "He and I are here if you have any questions" instead of "Contact Jim or me if you have any questions." Here's a URL if you think I'm nuts: https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/usa...

Whew. Rant over. I don't claim to have perfect spelling or grammar all of the time. Hell, sometimes my brain moves faster than my fingers and I'll find emails where I said things like, "I follow up tomorrow" or, "I'm send you the approval now." Brilliant, right?! Right. NOT.
