Today I have been sewing, or at least doing all of the designing, ironing, cutting, and arranging that comes before the actual sewing together of bits of fabric towards a pieced pillow case. For many people there is a genuine delight to be found in working with our hands, creating things, and even handling the tools of the trade and reveling in their potential.
