What can I say… When I put Gibson’s story out there, I thought it’d be picked up by a handful of people, most of whom I know IRL. A few more found it, it seems.
To those who like my stories; Thank you. Please know that your words warm my heart, and have made me drink more celebratory tequilas than I suspect is entirely healthy.
To those who read my stories and didn’t like them; Your words might sting (because human), but they also make me think which is always a good thing, so thank you for taking the time to write them.
Should I have hired an editor? Of course. The royalty per copy of Gibson is 35c, and I expected a handful or two of downloads so anyone can do the math. I’m not making excuses, the spelling errors were mine, I could have done better and I will. I’m just saying that things aren’t always as black and white as one would like them to be. A second edition of Gibson is published, and Paddy is on his way.
I’m still pretty much not interesting at all, but if I find that I have something to say then I’ll say it here, and if you have any questions then feel free to ask.
Oh, and one more thing… I promised to move up release dates if I got an encouraging number of reviews and pre-orders.
Consider me encouraged.
If you haven’t already then ladies (and, um, gentlemen?), you now have four days to pre-order.
Joke will be released on Amazon August 20th.
(August 21st in all other places)
XO/Mia
