Man, September already. Means there is only 2 more months until the release of The Big Machine Eats, the next installment in the struggle of Bishop Rider. Disclaimer: he is a blast to write. Disclaimer part 2: I thought I was done with him after my first collection, A Better Kind of Hate came out. He did not speak to me for quite some time is what I mean. So much so that I moved on, as we sometimes have to do. He came back, however, and got himself caught up in some very thick shit. He may have made a new alliance as well, and maybe escapes something by the skin of his teeth. Anyway, this is all to say I am quite excited. Not only for November but for the rebirth of a character I thought lost to me.
