Doubt if I would find enlightenment but would love to know how Boadicea pronounced her own name. I think the latinised spelling is prettier and that is how I spelled it years ago when I made a painting of her for my sister and called the portrait "Boadicea Jean". An intriguing historical figure to be sure but she sounds kinda scary.
