The Gift of Second Chances: A Valentine's Romance
is a novel about a seasoned married couple's efforts to find their way back to each other after a short-lived, but still very painful, affair. The story is not about the hero's affair but the couple's love for family and their growth as individuals and as a couple.
In the novel, Sean and Angie decide the best way to learn how to heal from Sean's affair and to strengthen their marriage, is to begin marriage counseling. Their therapist poses several questions, during their initial session.
I would like to include select responses to the questions, from real-life people, in the book, which will release on Valentine's Day. This form does not ask for or collect names. All responses will be anonymous. So, be as open and honest as you like. Not all questions will apply to you--some are intended for the cheated-on partner, while others for the cheater.
There is no shame or blame here, only a gathering of information that may help someone who reads your response. And, personal reflection, especially on the eve of a New Year, can do wonders for the soul.
