Catastrophes
The word catastrophe has the word astro in it which means star. So, an end of the world catastrophe would have something to do with a star--and the nearest one to us, would be our sun.
Pretty much anything that went wrong with our sun could prove catastrophic to us here on Earth, so I'm going with the word catastrophe meaning, something big happening to our sun.
Just to bring religion into it--I've studied a bit on the idea that religions are really talking about the heavens--the sun/son--second coming--the virgin being the age of Virgo, etc.
Putting this all together with my researching into plasma events--what if the second coming of the 'sun' would be the switching of the polarity of our sun--bringing about new one, after 3 days of darkness?
Brian Austin Lambert 33, has a YouTube video talking about how our sun is actually the light of the plasma being directed down to earth, in the same way we'd use a magnifying glass to make a point of light(and set grass of fire). The plasma is in a spiral of electro-magnetism(think of the caduceus) which pulses once for ever year on Earth, and switches polarity periodically.
When it switches polarity, we get three days of darkness, and then the magnetism lets go, and things start floating up into the void(Wizard of OZ?).
After the new sun(second coming) comes in, we have fresh energy and we have a golden age. We live longer--better--and we have more access to the spirit world which means the dead shall rise(because we can see our deceased loved ones like a good psychic).
But before the second coming of the sun--we have famine(weird weather), fires all over the world(plasma discharges as the chord of the plasma unravels before it starts back up), people going crazy(we are electrical beings so we get ramped up--not a bad thing unless you haven't addressed your issues and they all come bubbling to the surface at once), and lots of war since our leaders are just like us, only with more issues.
If this sounds a bit like the book of Revelations, maybe that's what the book is all about. If you take the magical quality out of religions, you can get to the science--or maybe if you put religion back into science, we'd get more facts.
Things are getting more interesting with more lights in the sky, and more weird pink sunsets.
I'll keep studying for my new book, because so far, this is the most interesting subject I've delved into so far. . . .
