Dream Lover
Dream Lover is about how idea that we can change the past by revisiting it in a dream. I like the idea of exploring what is real—our reality or our dreams.
If all is just frequency, and all we have to do is to tune into a particular frequency to relieve it, how can we change our past in order to change our future?
This all sounds like Science Fiction which is one of my favorite genres because Sci-fi explores ideas outside of our every day living.
In the book Ender, a child saves the world, yet he thinks he playing a game. If Ender had known he was blowing up a real planet, not just one in a video game, would he have done things differently?
Would he have had the nerve to end an entire species world?
Would he have thought about how he would be able to live with himself afterwards?
These are not the type of questions that come up in our every day life, so we never have to ask them.
My central character Kristen is different from her ‘past’ self, which allows her to see things differently when visiting her ancestor—in her body!
I like the idea of being able to make different choices and how they echo through the generations to give us better choices in the future.
My next book will explore the same mind-bending ideas of the fluidity of past, present and future and the power of love. Thanks for listening🥰
