Embracing Change!

So today my son asked, "How are you doing?" It was not unusual because he asked me that quite often. What made today different was that I did not initiate the conversation! He was actually concerned enough to ask about me. It was so important, that 'he' would be the person to seek the answer. In that moment, I saw the man that he had become, the caring loving person he had matured into!

Now I would love to say this post will be about parenting, but the reality is, he got me to thinking about life. As I took stock of things, I began making some observations:

1) My 30s were understanding single parenting.
2) My 40s were the time of change. Albeit un-welcomed.
3) My 50s have helped me understand the intricate nature of those changes.

So, I figured out that not only does life help you evolve but people in your life do as well! My question to you is, have you looked at your life? Have you discovered your evolution? Have you embraced change?
