I have the final entries for the Chesterfield School's writing competition. They have to write a story in 50 words. I've spent a couple of hours so far today checking them out and they're great! I'm really impressed with the abilities of some of the younger writers. I have to find winner and runner up in four categories, key stage 2, 3, 4 and staff. Then an overall winner. I've sorted ks2 and 4, but I'm stuck between 2 for runner up in the ks 3 category. The staff are still awaiting my attention lol. The variety is wonderful from fantasy, horror, comedy, everyday life, stories with morals etc. You name it and they've written about it. A very enjoyable task.
