Taking Stock - How Often Do You Do It?

Some people take stock, or look back, at the end of the year, an opportunity to do a "year in review." For those who make New Year's Resolutions, I'd recommend evaluating where you are at least every three months.

Review the goals you made.Measure how far along you are in reaching your goals.Consider if the goals are still realistic and what steps to take to reach them.
While I didn't make any resolutions or set any specific goal for 2019, I find myself in a position of gratitude.

My daughter completed her first year in high school with a very different outlook on school than when she completed her first year in middle school. Before the end of 6th grade, she hated school. Not the academics side, but goodness, it just wasn't an adventure filled with happy thoughts and unicorns. By the end of 9th grade, she was actually a little sad school was ending though she was ready to take a break from the academics. She was finally challenged to do and be more than the "bare minimum" and she did.
