'Martin! Wake up, Martin! Wake up! You’re in danger!' The voice reverberated inside his skull. Martin groaned and tried to open his eyes. They refused to cooperate. A spider strutted across the inside of his brain, set up house and built a network of webbing linking one thought to another.
'Martin! You’ve been drugged! You must fight it and wake up! The police are on their way!' More spiders joined the first.
