Back to School
I am back to school tomorrow preparing for the coming school year. Not sure where the summer went. From the lack of response my book generated I don't think I will be adding it to my students reading list.
Twenty people did purchase my book and one even wrote a review. Not much of a response. I work with special education students at an alternative high school on the west side of chicago. I am sure it will be an interesting year.
I am thinking about giving up buying can cat food for my feline friends Gizmo, Timmy Timmer and olive cat and start making it from scratch. I always come up with ideas but seldom follow through.
I guess I have no great and interesting thoughts to share. As those around me in this world say I just babble on. I guess I could talk politics and my ideas on the world around me but I do not want to start an argument.
To be honest I am sure this blog will be like my book. Un read and unloved. So I guess It doesn't matter what I write. Maybe I will enter something once a week.

Oh, goodness. I don't believe your book was unread. I read it. As far as unloved...I love to read but I love very few books. Your story was intriguing and had a ton of promise but I felt it needed more work and editing. Your main character is interesting. More development was needed, more work on the story line at the end. fewer typos/errors. They were quite distracting. Anyway that's just my opinion for what it's worth. Rework it, rewrite, and do it again if it is something you want to do. If you want to write, do it. Writing is very difficult. Good luck with it. And, good luck with the upcoming school year. Where did the summer go?
