Focus
Focus! I meant to post this last night, and quickly got distracted. I'm purposely not moving so I don't go down that road again. . . . okay, so the battery also died yesterday too.
I recently cleared a corner of my closet to make a snazzy meditation space. It works well. I have comfy cushions to sit on, crystals to clear and protect the space, and Moe, an "unfinished" ceramic replica of a terracotta warrior. I don't know why his name is Moe but I'm also not worried about it. He does his job in diffusing the essential oils so my meditation space smells nice.
I also had the brilliant realization, that my dark and comfy corner would make for a great writing space. (eeks! gotta move before the battery dies again. Yesterdays 25 minutes was really 3) Gotta love stream of conscious writing!
Last night I gave the new writing space a whirl. I had a full hour of focused editing. The concentration was broken when neighbors on the other side of the wall came upstairs and were making all sorts of noise. Def need to add some pyrite to the space, was the first outside thought. The second was a realization that I was thirsty and that the water I had brought upstairs, hadn't actually made it to my writing space. It was all down hill from there.
But point being. The space works! I'll add some pyrite and probably a few writing and creativity crystals. Its a work in progress, just like everything else. As long as I keep out of cyberspace the focus should hold. . . . should. . . :)
In the meantime go read Vengeance of the Crypt if you haven't already.
