I'm not superstitious, but when Friday the 13th falls on a weekend in March when the entire world is preoccupied by a virus, it makes me wonder...
Ever since Christmas, I've been planning on being in Texas with my grandchildren for an extended period of time, beginning March 1st. So, here I am, safely ensconced in their make-believe world, with a myriad of activities to keep them busy. The virus has extended their Spring Break by a least another week, so we are doing lots of indoor scavenger hunts, jigsaw puzzles, reading books and playing hide-and-seek games. At ages 9, 7 and almost 4, anything to stimulate three young girls' play without turning on the T.V. is rewarding. They do fuss at each other at times, so it's incumbent upon us to redirect their active minds and stay positive!
Oh! And a trip to the library is definitely on the agenda. Here's hoping and praying they don't close our libraries!
