Lady Lisa’s Loop, Edition 2
Inside this edition, you’ll find a peek at a few of the books which have moved up on my TBR pile to near the top. Because I’m a busy writer, many books make it onto my reading list, but those I read first are chosen carefully. I’m constantly re-evaluating the books at the top of this list. This is because I am writing in numerous multi-author projects at present, and while I’m writing and researching, I’m also doing an incredible amount of reading the contributions by my fellow writing friends in those series to remain relevant and trigger new book ideas.
In any cases, this list is by no means all-inclusive of my TBR pile, which is ridiculously large, because there are so many great writers out there. Like many of you, I can’t seem to stop myself from buying books and adding to this pile. You will find both Contemporary and Historical selections mentioned here, but all of these are from writers known to excel in delivering quality Christian content.
Moving right along, here are some books I have on my To-Be-Read pile. Doesn’t this series by fellow Author Becky Wade look wonderful?

Here are my newest releases so you may add them to your TBR list if you feel so inclined. A Persevering Heart has released at 99c as an Introductory Special Price for the first book in this exciting new Contemporary Christian series. If you love mystery, suspense, and humor, I believe you’re going to love it. Don’t miss Minnesota Bride, the second novella to release in this wonderful Civil War Romance series with contributions written by 17 authors. This novel follows the story of Minnesota Governor Ramsay’s daughter in a fictional romance where she becomes a spy in the Confederate President’s household to assist President Lincoln in his endeavor to squelch the southern uprising. Hazel’s Tribulations is another fun story as Lady Mia’s cousin from The Prairie Princess arrives in Wyoming along with a blizzard. With her spoiled temperament, Hazel instantly clashes with the handsome ranch hand at Silver Aspen Ranch. This book was my final contribution for the ‘Belles of Wyoming’ series, a delightful tale of 1880’s Wyoming.

I sincerely hope you are well and weathering the COVID-19 storm. We will make it through this with our faith in Jesus and by remembering we are all in this together. I’ve been hunkered down at home writing since early March as I had three releases all in one month. I can’t remember leaving my home other than for a walk outside to get some fresh air since March 8th. I’ve spent the first week of April re-fueling with great books, a few Hallmark movies, and catching up with our DVR on my favorite TV series, “When Calls the Heart,” and “When Hope Calls.” How to keep Easter a little more lively when we can’t gather with some of our loved ones is weighing on my mind, but I know our efforts will be saving lives. What could be better than that? We’re laying down our normally busy lives, our family celebrations, and our customary gatherings at church and home, for the good of others in the hope less people contract this horrible virus. I believe that staying home in this situation is a splendid way to honor Christ. I’m praying for those who are not well to heal, to survive, to be brave. And I’m praying for you, our readers, whom we writers love dearly. May our books help take some of these social distancing hours and make them less of a burden for those who read them.
