I've just spent the past five days rereading and editing my draft fic. The story's so long, and the writing's taken so long to do, that I was starting to forget details of my own story. My memory has been refreshed, some errors caught, and some forgotten plot points noted down for inclusion in upcoming chapters.
Thanks, still safe! Australia's doing well. Kids are back at school, which is kind of stressful, but numbers are low so I'm trying not to worry. Hubby is still working from home. You take care too. xxI am currently working on chapter 27. I have plotting notes added into my draft after that which give me an estimated total of 32 chapters to finish the fic (so 6 chapters to go including this one, 24K to 60K words). However, in my experience my fics always bloat out more than I expect, so 32 chapters is the absolute *minimum* needed to finish the fic. It's likely to end up being more than that to wrap it up, once I start fleshing things out.
