Two more days and more Q&A

Only two more days until the doors of Olympus open!

I'm trying to make sure everything is ready to roll and keeping occupied while I ever-so-patiently wait. (sigh) So, here are a few more questions I've received.

Does My Song's Curse get steamy?

It does. There are no closed doors, but it's not erotica level steam. It's maybe a 7.5 out of 10 on the sexy-times scale. (please correct me, readers, if that scale is incorrect! It's hard to judge your own work, lol)

Are there tropes?

My Song's Curse has hints of some trope topics—forbidden love, first-time love, and class warfare (divine vs non-deities).

What inspired you to write My Song's Curse?

I was writing in another series about the Muses, so my mind was on Olympus with all the research I'd been doing. I tried my hand at a short story writing. Alex the demigod and Lula the siren walked right into the scene, but the writing ended up being more of a chapter open than a short story. It was their beginning. Once I'd written a good amount of it, I realized it was the backstory to my muse series.

So there, you go. A little more about me.

Now about you... I'd love to know if you are a romance trope-lover and which ones really make a book fit into your sweet spot. Is it enemies to lovers or fated mates? Do you love or hate a romance triangle? Do you only like a certain trope in specific genres but can't stand them in others? (I'm looking at you, YA fantasy and your unknowing princesses)

Happy reading all!
