Alright, so it's not exactly entirely new.
You all... I did a thing.
I had a concept in my mind that wouldn't fit under my work, but it also wouldn't leave me be. I have a couple that didn't want to be a couple. They wanted to be a throuple. Yep... I went menage. Not just menage but like... a bowl of spicy peppers menage.

This is the only one-off Roller Derby one-off character I recall for the moment, although I'm sure I've read a couple of others. BUT...Shelley Laurenston's fantastic Pride series has a couple of BOMB RD ladies. Gwen and Blayne, the FMC's of books 4 and 5 are also a couple of BFF's who are PLUMBERS! in their day jobs, and both end up on the local shifter RD team by night. The team they play on pops up a number of times across the series as a sholw, but also it includes female players on the shifter ice hockey team too! See my major gush over the series here. My only caveat is that her humour is really polarising, but I obviously love it.
