You’ll find me at IdeaHamster.substack.com
After many years of writing, editing, and publishing in a variety of markets, I’ve decided to take a break from the submission process. I find much more joy in helping others get published than in pushing my own stuff. Over the years, I’ve collected so many ideas, most of them for nonfiction kids’ books. Rather than let them rot away in drawers, I’m going to share them.
If you have trouble getting fresh ideas for kids’ books, then you need to follow me at SubStack. My Idea Hamster newsletter will provide at least one, if not two, ideas every week. I publish the newsletter every Monday and Thursday. Some ideas take more than one day to cover. Most are explained in a single post. So far, I’ve offered up three ideas over five postings.
History, science, natural history, biography, crafts, poems—who knows what will show up from week to week? It’s best if you SUBSCRIBE, so you don’t miss that one nugget that might make your typing fingers tingle with joy.
I’m looking forward to engaging with writers again!
Oh, did I mention this is FREE?
IT IS.
