Ooo A Blog Post
Blog posts have always been weird to me. Like, who would want to know anything about what I'm thinking or doing on any given day? I guess I can use this for book updates, but have any of you actually ever heard of a writer who writes ? Unheard of from my experience. Let's be honest, writers just go to sleep one night with an idea and wake up with a freshly polished draft underneath their pillow that they send off the beta readers, strap on their boxing gloves, and prepare for a fight to defend their comma ridden monstrosity.
Book Stuff... Techincally
I am a terrible editor, well, I'm actually not that bad, but I'm mean... In my Carleton University creative writing class, I once spent 4 hours doing vigorous research to find out the exact 50-year time span in which a story took place. Turns out the answer was: "I don't care, it's just for fun." (It was between 1450 and 1492, in case you were curious.)
A bit of useful information: useful for what? That's for you to decide. I have about 1/8th of the way through the first draft of The Silver Men sequel, currently titled The Silver Children, so while I'm doing this, if anyone has read the first book and has any ideas or requests for where you will like this to go, send me a DM, this is a team effort.
Also, no, I will not put you in the next book, stop asking. And if you hound me 5+ times, I will put your ex in the book and make them a hero. Don't test me.
I am considering writing a novella that will be some bits of The Silver Men but told from James' point of view. I promise I won't start writing it until I have at least finished the second draft of The Silver Children. I'd hate to keep you all waiting, but let me know if this is something you'd like to see.
Day to Day
I suck at reading. Like, I know I have like 500+ books on my tbr at the moment, but I am apparently 8 books behind my goal for the year and I keep taking days off. I keep considering reading like eight short books to speed things up, but I definitely feel like that's cheating somehow. Are they still books? Yes. Is it still considered reading? Yes. Is it better than not reading at all? Absolutely. However, I do feel like I'll be cheating myself out of my goal.
Anywho, I promise I'll try to be funnier in the next updates. This was more or less just a test to see if I can write an interesting blog at all: I can't. But I will keep it going because, meh, why not?

Greetings from a God to a bunch of stubborn Sims known as novel characters. Here's a mess of ideas, half bakes promises, and three a.m. thoughts, threats, and theatrics.
