“JL50” fails miserably, after a promising “pilot” episode (pardon the pun).
Loose script, below par acting performances (Rajesh Sharma being the only solace) and tiring sub-plots, all together made this flick vulnerable to sit through.

Cinematography & Art (especially in recreating old Calcutta) were the only departments which did justice to the initial hype, the series carried.

Loved some local Bengali sound tracks too !
