This month, I was invited to speak at Monocle’s 2021 Media Summit in London, where the annual theme was ‘What – and who – is making the news.’ Naturally, I felt out of place next to a line up that included people whose work is gravely important—like international correspondent Clarissa Ward—but nevertheless, it was an experience.
