For this one, I’ve gone back to Elizabethan London of the 1570s for a love story between a young serving man and an apprentice to a spice merchant, suddenly thrown together by an alarmingly unexpected event.
In Elizabethan England, Gregory Fletcher’s quiet life as a serving lad for his London relatives is punctuated by trips to the spice merchant’s shop, where he finds the handsome apprentice, Jehan, more intriguing than the exotic goods on display.
When Gregory discovers Jehan is in peril, his instinct is to come to his aid whatever the cost. But will this mean danger for Gregory too?
