We've started adding STEM activities to supplement the main Teacher's Guide for The Day the Pirates Went Mad .

The latest is the recipe for "Apples in Paste". This crunchy muffin-sized apple-pie dessert is the treat that Cookie served the crew of the New Adventure in Chapter 12. Emma's reaction was that it was "...crunchy, sweet, and delicious!" so of course it had to be the first recipe she transcribed into Cookie's Cookbook! :)
