Cliffhanger love / hate

It's such a love / hate relationship with cliffhangers. For the Killian Blade Series, I used 'hooks' more than cliffhangers. For Savage Traitor, I ended with a cliffhanger. Why? Honestly, the beta team pointed me in the direction and I'm so glad they did!

My last chapter was BORING! After such a fast-paced book the last chapter kind of let all the air out of the tires. For a thriller, it needed to be on pace and as exciting as the rest of the book. Hence, I agreed. The cliffhanger was the best way to go.

So, sometimes, authors use cliffhangers for the best story, not to torture anyone. ;-) Something to think about.

Spring Totally understandable and also much appreciated. Savage Traitor is an awesome read, but cliffhangars on amazing reads such as this are still torture!
