The placemat on my display table read LET’S HAVE COFFEE (An inspirational conversation with author Olive Rose Steele). I pulled mercilessly on my last drop of coffee before responding to the questions.
Why do you publish?
How are your stories different from those already been told?
Why would someone want to read your story?
Do you call yourself a published author after you’ve published your story?
Yes? Why?
These are some questions that require careful consideration before publishing a manuscript. Being called a published author has a sexy ring; be careful, the novelty wears off. People are interested in reading your writings, yet they are equally interested in learning about you. Be ready to talk about yourself and by extension your published work.
Happy Writing!
