Twilight over the Aegean

Luke, Lucy and Norman return in my latest release, TWILIGHT OVER THE AEGEAN! Ambition and rivalry pits an unexpected enemy against the archaeology team over the discovery of one more mysterious object.

What is it this time?

Recently I was asked by Mystery and Suspense Magazine to write an article about mysterious objects in romantic mysteries. All of my stories in the Fresco Nights saga have one. The Black Madonna in FRESCO NIGHTS, The Medusa fresco in POMPEII AT DUSK, the Winged Bulls of Nineveh in MIDNIGHT IN PALMYRA and BAGHDAD BEFORE DAWN, and the Screaming Mummy in CAIRO BY NIGHTFALL. In TWILIGHT OVER THE AEGEAN the mysterious object is an ancient statue of Helen of Troy that leads to double murder!

Mysterious objects often show up in romantic mysteries because people are naturally curious about strange things. Characters can be mysterious too. Lucy and Luke read like open books. This makes Luke the billionaire archaeologist, charismatic; while museum illustrator Lucy wears her emotions on her sleeve. But Norman, Luke’s French bodyguard, is an enigma whose secrets from book to book are ever-evolving.

Mystery surrounds all ancient objects and these objects not only deliver the main characters into exotic new worlds, but is the reason people join forces.

Which brings me to the reason for this post. Good news for followers of the Fresco Nights saga! Yes, there is a book 6! Lucy’s boss is accused of stealing a statue of Helen of Troy, and her arrest leads to the secrets of an American ambassador, putting Lucy’s wedding on hold and her life in deadly chaos. TWILIGHT OVER THE AEGEAN is available at all Amazon outlets. Kindle copies will be given away during a free promotion for 5 days starting August 28th. Enjoy, and thank you for reading! Your comments, reviews and ratings are always appreciated.
