I often think that my little hobby (obsession?) with silent films (especially the genre variety) has pretty much reached a dead-end. I mean, it's not like they are still making them. And sooo many are lost :-(
However, there has been a recent surge. That things are still resurfacing after about a century is nice news indeed. How about this relatively recent batch?

and some lost footage of the incomparable Lon Chaney's "The Unknown".
Now, for all of these to eventually become available for general viewing is the next trick. But the point is....there's still hope!!
