A great book I read this month...
I had the opportunity to read a great book last month.

The book is entitled 'The Free Lunch' and it is written by Spider Robinson.

I have to admit that I have read few books by Spider Robinson. Those I have read have all been great.
He wrote the Robert Heinlein story 'Variable Star' from Heinlein's outline and that was also great.
I was intrigued by the story title of this book because it also comes from a Heinlein statement in one of his stories that 'There ain't no such thing as a free lunch."

The story takes place in a Theme Park and is very entertaining until you suddenly realize that it is a time travel story. People have come back from the future to try to save their reality by changing the past and making everything better, even though it might change the future and eliminate them from it.

As a reader, you are not sure for most of the story, which side is the good guys and which is the bad. It is a well written and highly entertaining story.

I loved this book and will read it again whenever I have the time.

If you get the opportunity to read this book do it. It is worth it.
