Busy year

Hey everyone!

Last year was suuuuper busy, with lots that I needed to do and lots more that I still haven’t gotten to yet. Its been an absolute whirlwind, releasing book after book after book (and keeping tabs on all of them has been a struggle!)

So what’s next?

Well… Chronicles 3 (Reflections of Doubt) releases pretty soon. I’ve already written the fourth book in the series and am currently working on the fifth (and final!) book of the Chronicles of the Chosen. The feeling is definitely bittersweet, as Morgan Lafayette, not to mention all of her friends, have been a part of my life for well over a decade now. But I’m also excited because this means I will be able to focus on some of the new stuff I’ve been stewing over for years.

In the Jen Rice series, I’ve re-released the first two books and totally revamped the third, removing all of the NSFW content so it is now fully safe for everyone to read. I am so happy I did that, as I quickly decided that if I wouldn’t let my children read it, I probably shouldn’t be writing it. Jen’s adventures are far from over, as I have already been working hard on the next few books in her world, so there’s plenty of chaos to come!

Inland Sea, one of my new favorite places to hang out. I’ve gone back and forth on this series for so long, its dizzying. But I am really pleased with how things have worked out so far. Jasika changed so much from where she first started, and so did Wendi. Each of the next few books I have planned (or have in progress!) have new primary characters for you to meet, but keep an eye open for cameos and guest appearances from old favorites!

But wait, there’s more… I have a couple of brand-new series that I am finalizing some of the details for, one of which I plan to drop the first book of later this year. I hope you guys like science fiction as much as you like fantasy, because at least one of these series takes place primarily in space. Alien worlds, new creatures to encounter, challenges with just plain figuring out how to exist… there’s surprisingly little difference between fantasy and sci-fi, when you get down to it. I’ve been wanting to cross into this genre for years, so now it’s time to start!

Well, I’ve still got a lot to do (as I mentioned earlier), so keep your eyes and ears open for more exciting news coming soon. After all, I’m only just getting started!
