Thanks, Debra. I'm hopeful that GOD SAVE BENEDICT ARNOLD can finally get the real Arnold story across. Fanny Campbell and Moll Pitcher both seem to offer promising material. I'm writing a weekly Substack of history nuggets (Talking to America) while I work on my next book that focuses on Tom Paine in the Revolutionary War. Keep up the good work,Jack
Thomas Paine is a great subject! I will look forward to reading that book, too! My personal Revolutionary War hero is John Glover. My writing partner and I visited Lynn and Marblehead while doing some research and we found his grave up on Old Burial Hill. They sure didn't teach us any of this in school!

I just wanted to tell you that I read Valcour and thoroughly enjoyed every page. I also have an arc of your new book thanks to NetGalley.com and am looking forward to reading it. My writing partner and I just published a novel set during the Revolutionary War. It's a retelling of the Fanny Campbell story and we are now working on another historical novel centered on the life of Moll Pitcher, the famous Psychic of Lynn, Massachusetts and a real person. It is a fascinating period in American History that I am afraid most people know little about. Best of luck to you!
