I'm pleased to announce that I'll be making some contributions to a "Scripts from the Crypt series" book on the silent film The Wizard with Tom Weaver and Gary Rhodes. It's based upon the book called "Balaoo" by Gaston Leroux (author of Phantom of the Opera). The Wizard was the 2nd filming of the story (there were 3 in total). Shortly after Leroux's prose appeared came the 1st. I'll be humbly attempting to do justice to the novel and 1st film. Slated for end of 2024.
